Excerpt, Devil’s Thread Hernia surgery (1974) and a stay in the sick ward of a St. Pölten hospital run by nuns represents a traumatic experience for TOMAK, later becoming a subject of his artistic development. From 1976 to 1980 TOMAK attends the St. Veit/Gölsen primary school. He is a passionate soccer and tennis player. From 1979 to 1988 he is captain of the St. Veit/Gölsen junior through varsity teams. Once a sweeper – always a sweeper!
